As a new type of fused synthetic refractory, based on our development of 
Fused Zeilanite and Hercynite, Fused Magnesia-hercynite is fused at high temperaturem in special furnace. It should maintain the tiny reduction to avoid FeO being oxidated to Fe2O3, and the generation of Fe during the fusing process. Fused Magnesia-hercynite shows even big crystal with none crystal boundary , resumbling to viyreous material under the microscope. Without pollution by hexavalent chrome, mainly used in large-sized cement convertor, Hercynite brick replaces present chromite brick in cement rotary kiln, lengthens the working life of lining brick (10-12 months for Chrome Magnesia Brick, 17-18 months for Hercynite Brick), highly reduces the consuming in labor and resources for refractory production, lessens the production cost, completely achieves chromite-free production in cement kiln, resolves social effects of chrome pollution. Fused Magnesia-hercynite represents high quantity chromite-free refractory of new age in cement rotary kiln.
